Good morning,
I hope that this email/post finds you as I must tell you how much “Lost” in the book Impact has affected me. I had heard the interview on CBC and immediately requested that my library order the book which they did. I received a concussion over a year ago and felt that no one understood what I was thinking or feeling, or even why I was doing things differently. They would say, “oh yes, I had a concussion once and I’m fine.” I couldn’t even find a concussion therapist where I live so I went to a chiropractor who had some concussion training. He tried his best, but as you know, that is often not enough. When I read “Lost” I was blown away at how much I identified with it. Even though our stories are different, I was relieved that finally I had found someone who “got it”. Recently, my sister told me that she had requested that her library order the book; she didn’t know I had as well. I am thankful that you and your co-editor compiled this book and I am thankful for each of the contributors. I wish I could stand at the top of a mountain to call out to the medical community to read the book. Thank you.
